White peach, fresh apricot and dusty stone on the nose. Rich and supple in the mouth, offering a slightly exotic aspect to its flavors of pineapple, lemon syrup and smoky oak (15% new). More pliant and less minerally than the basic village offering owing to the clay soil here but conveys a creamy old-vines texture and finishes with a grapefruit edge.
