The 2019 Chardonnay (Central Coast) is bright, focused and nuanced, all of which make it a fine choice for drinking over the near and medium term. Lemon peel, tangerine oil, white pepper and mint are nicely delineated. This attractive, nuanced Chardonnay has a ton to offer in its peer group.

The 2019 Chardonnay (Sta. Rita Hills) is fabulous. Bright and sculpted in feel, the 2018 captures the more taut style of the appellation, with plenty of lime, lemon, green pear, minerals and white pepper overtones. Readers who appreciate taut Chardonnays will adore the 2019 from Sandhi. Vineyard sites are Domaine de la Côte, Sanford & Benedict, Patterson and Bentrock.
