The 2021 Meursault Les Luchets has a very impressive bouquet that may outperform the subsequent vintage: struck flint, cold stream, Granny Smith apples, a little strict yet compelling. The palate is very taut on the entry and then fans out wonderfully, lemon and orange rind, a touch of stem ginger with a hint of peach skin towards the finish. Wonderful.

The 2021 Meursault Les Luchets has a slightly more complex bouquet with apricot blossom and linseed tincturing the malic fruit. Very fine delineation. The palate is taut and fresh, with fine weight and very commendable concentration for the vintage, saline and persistent towards the finish. Excellent.
The 2021 Meursault Luchets stands out this year, unwinding in the glass with aromas of lime zest, white flowers, freshly baked bread and bee pollen. Medium-bodied, satiny and racy, it's elegant and seamless, with a bright spine of acidity and a long, saline finish.
1 ha (2.5 acres). Tank sample. Mid-pale lemon. Bright citrus zest, white blossom on the nose. Very dry, with a mineral freshness driving the concentrated fruit and body through the mid-palate to a tensile, saline finish. Lovely depth, and expansive on the finish. (MH)
