Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2018-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru comes from 0.60-hectares of vines split over two parcels, one planted in the 1950s and the other in 2001 when the old vines were pulled up. It is completely destemmed. It has a refined bouquet, very well defined, "natural" and poised with slightly earthy red berry fruit that grow in stature in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a touch of graphite infusing the red cherry fruit. I like the poise here, then tension and the finesse shown on the finish - a lovely Clos-de-Bèze that comes recommended.
