The pale-hued 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos du Belvedere is all Grenache Blanc, barrel fermented and matured in older oak. Lime zest and white peach notes mark the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is clean and refreshing, finishing brisk, balanced and long.

The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Clos de Belvédère reveals enticing aromatics of honeysuckle, jasmine, pear, grapefruit, white peach, pineapple, pastry, ginger and a pinch of honey. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated, oily-textured and showing good energy, the finish is long-lasting.
The 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Clos Du Belvédere Blanc is lighter in color and has more citrus, lemon, and pear notes as well as some classic salinity on the finish. Based on 100% Grenache Blanc, it's medium-bodied and has good acidity, a balanced, elegant mouthfeel, and a good finish. It certainly plays in the fresher, more focused end of the spectrum.
100% Grenache Blanc. Vinified and matured for eight months in old barriques. Tasted blind. Anise, chamomile and pear fruit on the nose. A ripe mid palate with good fresh acidity and stone-fruit notes. Good intensity of fruit, nice ripeness and a mineral streak on the finish. Lovely honeyed style, already attractive and will age nicely. (AC)
