Score 89/100 · Drink 2021-2025, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Sep 2022
Exhibiting aromas of pear, citrus oil and bread dough, the 2020 Pouilly-Vinzelles Les Quarts is a medium to full-bodied, broad and textural wine with ripe acids, moderate concentration and a saline finish. Bottled with comparatively high turbidity and not much in terms of free sulfites, it's missing some of the precision the Bret brothers' wines used to show.

The 2020 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat Les Quarts has an intense nose with fresh lime, lemon zest and wet limestone aromas. The palate is beautifully balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a little spicy with a tang of marmalade towards the persistent finish. It has a sense of confidence about it and will surely repay bottle age.
