1982 Barolo Cannubi

Dark red. This Barolo hails from the prestigious Cannubi vineyard. It is fully mature on the nose, with suggestions of beef bouillon and herbs, although on the palate it appears to be much more youthful, showing notable length and layers of packed sweet dark fruit. This brooding, backward Barolo appears to be in need of additional cellaring and readers who own bottles of this wine should be prepared to exercise considerable patience.
