Tasting notes
Notes of honeyed peaches, melon, mandarin oil and white flowers introduces the 2016 Mâcon-Pierreclos En Crazy, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and open-knit wine that's expressive and easygoing. Comprised of the young vines and the later press fractions from the fruit that produces Guffens' best cuvées of Mâcon-Pierreclos, the En Crazy is best enjoyed in its youth.

(made from the estate's youngest vines and press juice from their other cuvées ; aged entirely in used barrels and bottled in July): Medium straw-yellow. High-pitched, slightly high-toned aromas and flavors of lime, mint and spices. Juicy and firm on the palate; not a big wine but possesses obvious energy and noteworthy spicy lift. Finishes quite dry and alive.
