Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2023-2038, Neal Martin, Jan 2020

The 2018 Corton Les Maréchaudes Grand Cru contains 60% whole-cluster fruit. It has a complex bouquet of brambly red fruit mixed with crushed rock and dried rose petal aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and fine definition. Taut and linear, leading to a structured, serious finish that will demand several years in bottle. Maybe it lacks the depth of the other two Grand Crus, but it is still well crafted.
