Tasting notes
The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is mineral and fresh, with almost spritzy acidity on the palate. This is all about green fruit and soft leaf herbs, gentle persuasions of white pineapple and mint and a salty Margherita character that is really quite attractive. It's a classy wine. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Full bottle 1,171 g. Full-ball NZ SB. Spring nettles, Cape gooseberry, fig jam and elderflower cordial. Big, blousy, mango sweet. You'd want a pretty intense Som Tam salad to tame this! It's a carnival in a glass. (TC)
The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Nauticus was aged in a combination of seasoned French oak and concrete egg. It has a fresh, delineated bouquet of gooseberry, nettle and sea spray. The palate has a touch of pyrazine character on the entry, but the acidity is nicely judged. It delivers a cohesive, assiduously spiced finish that lingers in the mouth. This is a well-made "Savvy" courtesy of winemaker Natasha Williams.
Notes of cooked pears, lemons and green melon with hints of salt and white pepper. Light- to medium-bodied with very lively acidity and a crisp, tangy finish. Drink now. Screw cap.
