Tasting notes
The fruit of a 24-hour maceration, the 2018 Rosé de Saignée Le Creux d'Enfer bursts with notions of cherries, blood orange, potpourri, licorice and spices. Full-bodied, broad and fleshy, it's layered and textural, with an enveloping core of fruit, a pillowy mousse and a long, exotically spiced finish.

The 2018 Rosé Blanc de Noirs Creux d’Enfer is so expressive, as it often is. Intensely floral and savory, with tons of whole cluster nuance, the 2018 lifts from the glass with scents of rose petal, dried herbs, mint, cinnamon and sweet red berry fruit. It's a beautifully nuanced, understated Rosé that stands on its own relative to all other Rosés. I never miss a chance to drink it, although those opportunities are few and far between. Disgorged: 2022.
