Tasting notes
Cru bourgeois exceptionnel. 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc on Garonne gravel. Aged for 14 months in oak barrels (91%) and amphorae (9%). Very dark with black core. Seductive blackcurrant fruit. Manages to be both savoury and fragrant. Excellent balance between fresh fruit, firm but smooth tannins and just enough freshness. Relatively powerful for 2023 but well balanced for the long term. (JH)

Firm and compact with juicy dark fruit and a hint of spice. Medium body. Firm and chewy finish.
Medium plus intensity, spiced plum, mocha, sage, grilled coffee beans, this has silky textured tannins and lift on the finish. High oak impact but enjoyable. 91% in barrels for ageing, with 9% in amphora.
