Based on 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, the 2023 Pagodes De Cos Blanc sports a brilliant white hue as well as caramelized citrus, chalky minerality, and minty herbs. It's fresh, focused, and pure on the palate, with medium-bodied richness, a vibrant mouthfeel, high yet integrated acidity, and outstanding length. Drink this impressive white over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2040.

The 2023 Pagodes de Cos d'Estournel Blanc is a total delight. Rich and ample in the glass, the Pagodes Blanc offers up a super-intriguing mix of yellow fruits, chamomile, dried flowers, mint, apricot and white flowers. The blend is 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon, with the Sémillon very much felt in the wine's textural presence and body.

The 2023 Pagodes de Cos Blanc has a bright nose of gooseberry and kiwi fruit, the 80% Sauvignon Blanc dominant aromatically, just a very faint and not unattractive bell pepper scent in the background. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, fresh though clearly not as complex as the Grand Vin. Admirable purity of fruit, though it does not quite stick in the memory.

Highly enjoyable to taste now it is in bottle, this is a white with so much character and joy, real creaminess through the mid palate, with white pear, oyster shell salinity, mirabelle plum, lime blossom and steel. A ton of lift and grip, strong recommend. Michel Reybier owner.
