Tasting notes
A blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sémillon aged approximately 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, the 2023 Château Cantelys Blanc sports a medium gold hue as well as honeyed orange, crushed citrus, spice, and a kiss of minerality on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a layered, richer mouthfeel, good acidity, and a clean finish. It's another food-friendly, textured, solid Pessac white that will drink well over the coming 4-6 years. Drink 2026-2032.

The 2023 Cantelys Blanc lacks some definition and feels a bit eggy on the nose. The palate is simple with light acidity, again, some sulfur issues here with a fixed reduction on the finish.
Honeyed orange, toasted spice, pineapple, and exotic flower notes all emerge from the 2023 Château Cantelys Blanc, a fruit-loaded, juicy, textured, delicious white that's going to drink nicely right out of the gate.
Pineapple, yellow citrus. white peach and mango notes shine through in the nose, and on the fresh, almost, zesty, creamy, palate.
