Honeyed orange, leafy herbs, and spicy nuances all emerge from the 2023 Château Bouscaut Blanc, a bright, juicy white based on 59% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon. It brings good richness on the palate, a round, layered mouthfeel, and a great finish. Playing in the richer end of the spectrum, this is going to shine on the dinner table over the coming 3-5 years. Drink 2026-2030.

The 2023 Bouscaut Blanc has a straightforward, malic bouquet with Granny Smith and cool glade scents. A little strict. The palate is well balanced but has a conspicuously oaky entry that obscures the fruit underneath. Buttery on the finish. Early-drinking and just a bit concocted for my liking.

Based on 59% Sauvignon Blanc and 41% Semillon, the 2023 Château Bouscaut Blanc offers up an exotic, complex, medium-bodied style with plenty of character. The aromatics include some honeyed lemon and citrus notes as well as a kiss of spicy wood, and it has the more fruit-loaded style of the vintage, with plenty of acidity.

White peach, vanilla, lemon curd, spice, and pineapple aromas are all over the place. On the palate, the wine is zesty, spicy, crisp, and racy, with a juicy, yellow citrus finish that leaves you with a hint of spice, and marzipan on the backend. The wine is a blend of 59% Sauvignon Blanc, with 41% Semillon.
