2022 Chablis Montmains

The 2022 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru comes from 3 hectares of vine, the largest holding in the climat. This sample was also taken from tanks after six months in used barrel. It has an open bouquet with touches of mirabelle, crushed chalk and light sea spray influence. The palate is well balanced with a slightly honeyed entry and yet this is effortlessly countered by the vein of acidity. Lovely "bite" on the finish, there is a sense of completeness that makes this the pick of the Domaine's cuvées in 2022.
