Tasting notes
Apricot pit, white flowers, mint and lemon confit are given an extra kick of creaminess and palate texture in the 2014 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard. Soft, open-knit and inviting, the 2014 captures all the signatures of this great site in its palate feel and weight. What a gorgeous wine this is.

A rich, bold, opulent expression of Sonoma Coast is seen in the 2014 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard, with gregarious notes of ripe apricots, pineapple and guava over butterscotch, crème brulee and cashews. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is packed with decadent tropical fruit and honeyed toast flavors, with a lively backbone and satiny texture, finishing with satisfying persistence. 380 cases were made.
The 2014 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is, as always, a bit richer and oilier through the mid-palate than the Mays Canyon, even though the total acidity here is in reality higher. White and yellow orchard fruit, wild flowers, chamomile and almond notes grace the palate in a round, expressive Chardonnay that should drink well pretty much upon release. This is another super-distinctive Chardonnay from Littorai.
