Score 90/100 · Drink 2014-2024, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014

The 2012 Cornas Patou, which spent 18 months in older barrels, is a beauty, but certainly pushes on the feral, brett, barnyard spectrum. Loaded with garrigue, iron, saddle leather and sweet dark fruit, it’s medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and rich. I like its mid-palate density, as well as its sweet tannin. Keep bottles cool and drink them over the coming 8-10 years.
