Tasting notes
The 2021 Cissac has a respectable nose: blackberry and blueberry fruit, not powerful but delineated, with an attractive mintiness. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine depth and a little chewiness toward the finish, but it just pulls up a bit short. Drink this over the next six to seven years.

Delicate, well balanced, carefully constructed, leaning into the vintage rather than trying to overdo things. Not tasted En Primeur, but this is charming, with rose petal edges, nettle, raspberry leaf and smoked earth, unfussy. Marie Vialard owner
The 2021 Cissac offers plenty of black cherries and raspberry on the nose, displaying good concentration and more attack than many of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, good grip and a lightly spiced finish. Drink over the next decade.
