Score 90/100 · Drink 2020-2037, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2020

The 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay Golden Jubilee is the latest iteration of a cuvée that debuted in 2013 when a parcel of Ente's vines that are entitled to the regional appellation—but which his grandfather insisted, he says, produced a better wine than Puligny lieu-dit Les Houlières—attained the age of 60. Broader and more textural than his Aligoté, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy, bursting with aromas of green orchard fruit, citrus oil, hazelnuts and fresh pastry. It's a superb wine that exemplifies Ente's pure, refined style.
