Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,242 g. Certified HVE and Terra Vitis. 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. It smells so good, so fresh, so deliciously pure-fruited that my mouth actually started to water, just putting the glass to my nose. And those aromas are not misleading, taking the fruit into a mesh of muscly, chewy tannins and lots of peppy but neatly, elegantly preppy herbal notes. Lots of vigour. A card-carrying St-Estèphe. Spicy wood, red and blue fruits, damp earth, and sappy, violet, herbal notes all emerge from the 2020 Château Tour Des Termes, a medium-bodied, nicely textured, balanced beauty with lots of charm. It's already accessible yet should keep for at least a decade.
The 2020 Tour des Termes has a well-defined bouquet with blackberry, raspberry, undergrowth and light touches of Asian spice. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, impressive weight with a composed saline finish that urges you back for another sip.
