Tasting notes
A small proportion is aged in oak. This was far from put to shame by the Premier Cru Chablis tasted immediately before it. Such purity! Great crystalline pure Chardonnay flavours. And ready to enjoy. Such a steal!!! VVGV (JR)

Pale straw-yellow. Slightly high-toned aromas of lemon drop, musky white peach and fresh herbs, plus a hint of ginger. Fat, broad and sweet, with lemon and apple fruit flavors kept fresh by some unabsorbed CO2. Finishes dusty and firm, with a brisk apple note and lingering spice character. A very good entry-level Chardonnay.
With a nose of fresh apples, pears and white peaches complimented by baking bread notes, the 2014 Village Chardonnay is purely fruited on the light to medium-bodied palate, exhibiting elegance and thirst-quenching freshness with a medium-long finish.
