A bit reticent at first, the nicely matured 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale (Vigne Centenaires) easily combines notes of fine leather, ripe cherries and dried spices. It's a comfortable, full-bodied wine that's drinking beautifully.
