Score 91/100 · Drink 2015-2020, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Nov 2015
The dark yellow colored 1970 Vouvray le Clos du Bourg Moelleux offers an open and elegant, still fresh and delicate bouquet of matured fruit aromas and some stony/mineral flavors, but fungus botrytis flavors follow with more aeration. Very delicate, fresh and intense on the palate, this medium-bodied wine reveals a lot of tension, finesse, minerals, and a long and almost dry finish with fine tannins. This is a very elegant and well-balanced wine that should be very good with food, especially with fish. (205 EUR)
