Tasting notes
A textbook Meursault, this is superb in 2022. There is a touch of gunflint reduction alongside browned butter and toasted almonds. The wine hits your palate with instant richness, the viscous whole coating the palate with its pleasing weight and density. The oak needs time to integrate, but there’s plenty of fruit to balance it – white peach and taut lemon peel bringing richness and freshness. A wine that deserves a chef’s kiss.

The 2022 Meursault Village delivers aromas of honeyed pears, toasted nuts, white flowers and peach, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and suave palate of impressive length and structure. Like its Puligny counterpart, this will show well young.
