Cask sample. Bright red-berry and cherry fruit. Vibrant, crisp acidity. Very Chambolle on the palate with juicy, ripe strawberry fruit and a lick of acidity to keep the palate fresh. Approachable already, not massively complex but lots of enjoyment to be had, early on. (AWH)

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes has turned out especially well, offering up pretty aromas of raspberries and cherries mingled with notions of violets and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a pure and succulent core of fruit, lively acids and a mineral finish, it's suave and harmonious.
