Bursting with citrus aromas and lemon pastry cream, the 2020 Proprietary White rockets out of the glass with gorgeous floral notes and elegant oak tones. Medium-bodied and immensely complex, the palate displays sweet citrus flavors before a kiss of phenolic bitterness appears. Offering impeccable texture with a long, lingering finish, this beautiful wine has me craving a wide variety of dishes, from roasted chicken to hard cheeses. It will remain food friendly for years to come.

The 2020 White, a blend of 76% Sauvignon Blanc and 24% Sémillon, has a lovely nose that gently unfolds to reveal citrus peel, almond and touches of melon and tangerine peel, all very understated and precise. The well-balanced palate is focused, fresh and tensile, with good substance and grip. Hints of sour lemon, ginger, orange peel and white pepper appear toward the spicy finish, which lingers in the mouth. Excellent.
