Score 91/100 · David Schildknecht, Wine Advocate, Aug 2007

Quince, honey and tangerine scent the nose of Chidaine’s 2005 Montlouis Les Bournais – named for the prevailing, Vouvray-like chalk-clay soil mixture that prevails in this recently planted parcel. A creamily-textured and almost voluptuous palate suggesting ginger-laced orange liqueur and herbal-floral distillates, leads to a pure, clear, citrus and honey finish.
