The pale, peachy-colored 2020 Bandol Rose Chateau Romassan is mainly Mourvèdre, with smaller proportions of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Scents of crushed stone accent notes of peach, strawberry and lime on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is silky in texture, streamlined in shape and extremely long on the finish. It can be drunk now or over the next few years.

Limpid orange. Powerful, mineral-accented citrus pith, red berry and succulent floral and herb scents, along with a spicy nuance. Chewy and sharply focused in the mouth, offering concentrated strawberry, bitter cherry, blood orange, honeysuckle and smoky mineral qualities and a deeper peach pit flourish. Chewy and densely packed yet lively as well, the mineral and floral notes carrying through a very long, precise finish. - Josh Raynolds
