Medium to full-bodied, round and fleshy, it's generous and gourmand, with an enveloping core of fruit, powdery tannins and an expansive finish. This will offer a broad drinking window.

Naughty heavy bottle. Clove oak, crushed rock and rich, red cherry. Quite full bodied, with firm, grainy tannins and a spicy, slightly warming, long finish. Robust. (TJ)
The 2018 Beaune Clos de la Mousse 1er Cru comes from Bouchard’s 3-hectare, clayey monopole that apparently never suffers drought. It has a high-toned bouquet of blueberry and cassis aromas, forward and generous if not incredibly complex. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and quite voluminous in the mouth. The saline, hoisin -tinged finish just requires a little more delineation.
