The 2020 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru is a little simpler than the Bitouzet-Prieur's Perrières: predominantly yellow fruit mixes with honeysuckle and melted candle wax. I would just like a little more mineralité . The palate is well-balanced with a concentrated, slightly glycerol entry. The 2020 shows fine acidity and is quite powerful, especially towards the back end, though it never fully reveals the complexity of its peers. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
