Score 85-88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Bright medium cherry-red. Complex aromas of smoke, coffee and spice. Sweet entry, then dryish and closed, and rather dominated by its structure today. Slightly dry on the back end. I don't get quite the same depth of flavor here as in the above wine, but this builds reasonably well on the aftertaste.
