Tasting notes
The 2019 Cissac offers up aromas of plums, currants, sweet soil tones and cigar box. Medium to full-bodied, bright and concentrated, it displays fine-grained but assertive tannins, tangy acids and fine length on the finish. More polished than the chewy, frequently austere Cissac wines of yesteryear, it will nevertheless require a bit of patience.

The 2019 Cissac has a nose of bright red berries nicely interwoven with hints of graphite and cedar, all very focused. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and vibrant, with fine-grained tannins and gentle grip on the graphite-tinged finish. This is a very fine Cissac to enjoy over the next decade.
Pretty nose of currants, dark cherries, dried violets, cloves and pine cones. Itâs medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Clean, crisp and flavorful. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Drink after 2023.
