Score 92/100 · Drink 2021-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2022

The 2015 Barbera d'Alba is a very attractive wine, especially for readers looking for a red that is starting to show signs of tertiary complexity. Sweet red cherry, cedar, pine, dried leaves and tobacco give this mid-weight, translucent Barbera tons of complexity and appeal. There is a bit of reduction, so a little advance aeration is a good idea.
