Tasting notes
The 2021 Thieuley Blanc has a simple cooking apple-scented nose with touches of grass clippings. The palate is fresh on the entry with Conference pear and Golden Delicious, fine acidity and a slightly leesy finish. Fine.

In 2021, Château Thieuley faced a challenge with freezing conditions, leading to a nearly 50% reduction in its crop. The 2021 Blanc, a blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Sauvignon Gris and 35% Sémillon, reveals a vegetal bouquet with notes of ivy, herbs and white fruits. Tense and fresh, the wine on the palate is a bit bitter with an incisive finish.
The 2021 Thieuley Blanc has a pretty, Granny Smith apple and grass clipping nose. The palate is well balanced with light malic flavors, though I am seeking just a little more extract on the finish.
