Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,356 g. Our note in the Vintages section of Learn: 'Charming wines for early drinking'! Deep straw. Very mature nose with, still, a suggestion of struck match! Still some fruit and still very refreshing – more so than the 2006 Rougeots. Very long. (JR)

Revealing leesy and sweet vanilla bean scents, the Meursault Rougeots is silky-textured and thick. This sultry, ample, medium-to-full-bodied wine is both extraordinarily spicy and filled with candied nuts and acacia blossoms. If its oak-dominated finish is absorbed by its copious fruit, this complex and concentrated wine may merit a higher score. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel (510) 524-1524.
