Bright red. Pure red berries on the nose. Juicy and nicely delineated, with its cherry, red berry and licorice flavors accented by an herbal element. Finishes with good cut.

The 2016 Bourgogne Passetoutgrain l'Exception has a simple but pure bouquet with vivid blueberry and blackcurrant. The palate is pretty with vivid blue fruit mixed with cassis, with a pretty and joyful finish. Delightful.

One gravelly ha on the border of Meursault. Very suitable for co-planted Gamay and Pinot. Very youthful and unformed. Lots of acidity and graininess. Very energetic and spicy. Firm finish. GV ? (JR)
