The 2014 Reserve White comes from certain pockets where they believe the fruit is more pure, perhaps due to clones. Whole bunch pressed, aged in 80% in new French oak from a Bordeaux cooper for 13 months, it has a delightful bouquet with orange blossom and pralines; the oak is neatly integrated and complementing its subtle tropical tones. The palate is very well balanced with a smooth, slightly honeyed texture that is matched by a crisp seam of acidity, citrus peel and a touch of sour lemon imparting edginess on the finish. Very fine.
