Tasting notes
Old-fashioned label. Very slightly rustic but sweet and ripe. Many St-Émilion enthusiasts would LOVE this! Blood and guts here! VGV (JR)

Slightly subdued notes of redcurrants and darker cherry as well as some earthy, herbal notes all emerge from the 2019 Château Montaiguillon, a medium-bodied, nicely textured, fruit-forward 2019 that's already drinking nicely. It should keep for 7-8 years.
The 2019 Montaiguillon offers attractive red cherries, raspberry and light marmalade scents on the nose, the oak nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied, fleshy and generous, with supple tannins and a concentrated finish. This lacks a little sustain on the aftertaste, but otherwise, it constitutes a fine Montagne Saint-Émilion.
The 2019 Montaiguillon is a very pretty, understated wine with lovely floral and savory character to play off the dark red fruit, cedar, leather and tobacco flavors. Medium in body.
