A bit pinched on the nose, animal and a bit stinky. The palate is wildly different, fine tannins and a pretty red-fruit core. Floral notes of rose petal and always alongside a leather note. Interesting style that is both earthy and floral. (AC)

Like its Juliénas counterpart, the 2018 Fleurie Les Moriers is more rustic than its 2019 and 2020 siblings, offering up aromas of grilled meats, cherries, plums and spices. Medium to full-bodied, with powdery tannins and succulent acids, it's lively and a little wild.
Full bottle 1,300 g. Mid crimson. Correct, mild nose of sweet Gamay fruit even if not that exciting. A fair amount of dry tannin on the end. Not especially juicy. (JR)
Brilliant violet color. A suave, mineral-accented bouquet evokes ripe red/blue fruits and candied flowers and a spicy nuance builds in the glass. Bright, seamless and appealingly sweet, offering concentrated yet lively raspberry and boysenberry flavors that firm up slowly with aeration. Ripe but graceful in style, finishing gently tannic and impressively long, leaving a sexy lavender pastille note behind.
