Tasting notes
The white-golden 2021 Riesling Unendlich is concentrated, fresh and spicy on the saline- and lemon-scented nose that reveals some notes of citrus fruits. It is full-bodied, intense and creamy on the palate yet also stimulatingly saline and aromatic on the finish. This is a tight yet concentrated and juicy, superb, mouthwatering Riesling. Tasted in April 2024. 14% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in April 2024.

The 2021 Riesling Unendlich is a selection of the ripest grapes, containing about 10% shriveled (but not botrytised) berries, picked 90% in the Kelleberg and 10% in the Höhereck. It was fermented in stainless steel and matured for 16 months in large barrel and tonneaux . Notes of exquisitely ripe and fragrant apricot on the nose are accompanied by confit of the purest, ripest Amalfi lemon. The palate is a picture of bright, ripe apricot, absolutely edged with exacting contour and the pervasiveness of ripe lemon. This is concentrated and bold yet absolutely elegant and precise. Flawless fruit meets stony precision and poise. This is seductively beguiling and totally disarming—a killer if you love Riesling. With 9 g/L of acidity and 7 g/L of residual sweetness, this finishes thrillingly dry. (Dry)
