Kept back as a Schatzkammer wine, as they did not want to release two 2019 Beerenauslesen at the same time. RS 210 g/l. Honeyed apricots. Super-sweet and viscous on the palate, fills the mouth with the rolling texture. And still fresh on the finish. Very primary. Luscious and just fresh enough to balance. I'd prefer more acid here. The 2019 Riesling Beerenauslese Oberhäuser Brücke is intense, clear and concentrated on the fine and pure nose, displaying a nutty aroma in the beginning. Rich, intense and concentrated on the palate, this BA is very sweet and oily textured but also highly refined and crystalline, with a long, stimulatingly salty, piquant and tensioned finish. It is very digestible already today, but again, the best is yet to come. I suppose the 2019 is even finer than the already world-class 2018, which I had almost a year ago. Tasted in May 2020 (AP 2020).
