Leave it to Giancarlo Pacenti to make one of the most polished Rossos of 2017. Sleek and racy, with tons of persistence, the 2017 is super-expressive today. Dark cherry, spice, menthol, licorice and espresso all run through this mid-weight, striking Rosso. All the elements are impeccably balanced, in a pliant, racy Rosso that delivers the goods. This is such a delicious wine.

A darkly spiced Rosso di Montalcino that shows cinnamon, bracken, forest floor, dried red plums and red peppers. Lots of undergrowth on the medium-bodied palate, which also shows fine tannins and a savory finish. Drink now.
