Medium ruby colored, the 2009 Pinot Noir is ageing wonderfully. The nose offers warm berry and earthy aromas while the medium-bodied palate is elegant and showing some chewy tannins on the long finish.

Wow – a lot more expensive than Bourgeois’ Sancerre Rouge... Bright cherry red. Very sweet – none of the refreshment value of the Bourgeois wine. Sweet and beetrooty. Lots of flattery but not that much seriousness. A bit alcoholic and still rather marked by oak. (JR)

Cherry, soft tannins, rhubarb, rosehip, vanilla. Certainly complex enough, with a good floral lift too. Satisfying! (RH)
