2014 Pinot Noir Unique

The ruby-garnet colored 2014 Pinot Noir Malans Unique offers a magnificent coolish, silky, fresh and delicate Pinot aroma with very fine flinty and also some peppery notes, later mushrooms and autumn leaves. Silky, fresh and vivacious on the palate, this is a young but enormously energetic and elegant, rather light or uplifted Pinot Noir that already drinks very well but should gain in calmness as well as complexity with bottle age. The finish is crispy and cleansing. The wine closes after a while in the glass, so be patient! 13% stated alcohol. Tasted from magnum in Zurich, April 2022.
