Tasting notes
Naughty heavy bottle. Dark crimson. Juicy start with seductive fruit on the palate but a bit over-oaked and stolid. Incommunicative on the finish. (JR)

Inky ruby. Spicy black raspberry and cherry aromas are complicated by notes of black pepper and dried flowers. Deep, chewy dark fruit flavors are framed by dusty tannins and become spicier with air. Shows very good energy and focus, finishing with strong cut and grip.
Bright purple. Smoky cherry and dark berries on the highly fragrant nose. Pliant, alluringly sweet raspberry and blueberry flavors show very good clarity and punch, with a touch of cracked pepper adding bite. Closes tangy and persistent, with lingering minerality.
Bottled December 2011. Vines mainly belong to him. Perfume and liquorice. Round and fruity. Easy. (JR)
