Tasting notes
The 2018 Côte Rôtie Les Triotes offers another level of richness, giving up lots of black and red fruits intermixed with plenty of peppery spice, plum sauce, and candied violets. With loads of charm, medium to full body, ripe, broad tannins, and a great finish, this is one satisfying Côte Rôtie that will evolve gracefully for 10-15 years.

Saturated violet color. Displays intense, spice-tinged red/dark berry, floral and tobacco qualities on the highly perfumed nose. Broad, fleshy and appealingly sweet, offering palate-coating black raspberry, cherry and violet pastille flavors that are sharpened by a palate-stinging suggestion of white pepper. Finishes very long and floral, with building spiciness and round, even tannins that make a late appearance. (25% whole clusters and 20% new oak)
