The 2020 Clémentin de Pape Clément Blanc is wonderfully exotic in its bouquet. Lemon peel, jasmine, white flowers and apricot are all laced together. Medium in body, with striking inner perfume and lovely texture, the Clémentin de Pape Clément Blanc is an absolute delight. This is so nicely done.
The 2020 Clementin de Pape Clément Blanc has a light apple blossom and honeysuckle nose. Side by side, the Le Prélat just has a tad more intensity. The palate is balanced with a slight waxiness on the entry, attractive notes of Conference pear mixed with red apple and a touch of lemongrass, leading to a well-defined finish. Fine.
Fresh, bracing, bright and juicy, with a crispness and racy character to all the yellow citrus and spice. Sweet, fresh, energetic and lifted, the zesty, tart green apple and lemon hits the spot I the endnotes. It is hard to believe this is only a second wine . 91
