The full-bodied 2021 Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons features compelling scents of toasted hazelnut and pencil shavings, set against a backdrop of pear and pineapple. Like so many of Aubert's Chardonnays, it juxtaposes layers of richness and freshness, generosity and crispness, finishing long and refreshing.

The 2021 Chardonnay Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard is stunning, Bright, vibrant and explosive, the 2021 Hyde is fabulous. Crushed rocks, mint, white pepper, pear, lime and jasmine all race out of the glass. This chiseled, sculpted Chardonnay shows just how magical the 2021 vintage is. This is one of the most refined Hyde Chardonnays I have tasted from Mark Aubert.

The 2021 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard is creamy, ample and wonderfully expressive. Lemon confit, mint, white pepper, candid ginger, orchard fruit and a kiss of new French oak all meld together. Bright acids lend vibrancy and nuance throughout. Give this a few years to come together. There's a lot of intensity, but the elements aren't fully integrated.
