Score 91/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Anthony Mueller, Wine Advocate, Jul 2023

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon surpasses the 2017 Merlot in quality. It offers a bold and juicy core of fruit with a firm structure of earth and wood. Medium to full-bodied and layered with complexity, the palate offers succulent tannins with lively acidity before gliding to a delightfully lingering and subtly spiced finish. This aged for 18 months in 70% new oak. 29,000 bottles were produced.

Score 89/100 · Drink 2021-2028, Neal Martin, Nov 2021

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon has a very capable nose of lively blackberry, raspberry and cedar notes, the oak neatly integrated and a smoky note emerging with time. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, white and black pepper, and quite potent tobacco notes lining the finish. Drinking perfectly now, and it should continue to drink well for several years.
